New Church, Too!

Wow, when things start falling into place they really start falling into place!

Yesterday we visited a new church in Waukesha called Fox River Christian Church. I think it might be our new church home. We've been attending Elmbrook which is the main "megachurch" in Wisconsin but haven't felt totally at home there... (just a little too polished, quiet, etc). Well, Fox River is sort of the opposite. Worship was like a Gen Church worship service complete with power point song slides, light show and smoke. It was all a little more than we are used to but it was so nice to be able to worship more freely. And then the pastor was GREAT! You can tell he studies and knows a lot, but he had a way of breaking things down to be very simple and relatable. Then I found out the women's bible studies do Beth Moore and Priscilla Shires stuff!!! Tell me no more! Where do I sign up?

So, new home, new church... (and new gym - I'll tell you about that later) all in the same week. Nice. :)
