Arizona, Part 3 - Sedona

We weren't exactly sure what to expect (other than a free hotel room!) but just driving into Sedona was a feast for the eyes. The red rocks were jutting out everywhere, and reminded us of the scenery in the movie Cars. And there was definitely a theme... we ate lunch at Red Rock Cafe, and dinner at Red Rock Bar-b-que and hiked the next morning at Red Rock State Park. (Q. Why are the rocks red? A. Iron rusting in the soil)

I'd say our first family hike went successfully, although we were all relieved to see the bridge leading back to our car! (they are running in case you can't see it...) :)
